• ELIMINATES COLD DRAFTS: WindFree™* Cooling technology maintains the desired temperature and eliminates cold drafts by delivering air through micro holes on the unit's fascia panel when the louvers are closed, producing a dispersed and gentle flow of air defined as "still air." The WindFree™* fascia panel includes a humidity sensor to prevent condensation by restricting WindFree™* operation in high humidity conditions. WindFree™* operation is available in cooling mode only.
• INDIVIDUAL BLADE CONTROL: With independent louver control, the four louver blades can be individually set at the same or different angles within a 32-65° range.
• MAXIMIZE ENERGY SAVINGS: A Motion Detection Sensor (MDS) will automatically turn off or change the set temperature based on room occupancy, and learn occupancy patterns to reduce run time between occupied and unoccupied times. Use of MDS is optional (sensor sold separately).
• TOTAL CONTROL: Through the SmartThings app, you can operate your unit from almost anywhere, at any time†.
• QUIET AIR DISTRIBUTION: The aerodynamically designed turbo fan minimizes blade movement noise. Plus, the turbo fan’s wide blades provide evenly distributed cooling and heating from four separate outlets so the entire room cools down or warms up faster.
• ADVANCED COMMISSIONING AND SERVICE: The WindFree™* 4-Way Cassette is equipped with a removable EEPROM chip on the main circuit board to store unit option settings, serial number, unit tag, and other field programmed data. This allows for ease of startup, commissioning, product registration, and future service work when using Samsung service software (S-Net Pro2).
• EASY ACCESS: All internal components and field wiring connections are accessible from the bottom of the unit.
